New Blog Title!

I really do not want to go back to HCG because I really want to learn to eat correctly and loose weight and manage my weight naturally!  If  for whatever reason I cannot do that, I will go back.. but I want to get HCG lingo out of my system and just do what I know to do -- Sugars are an issue for me... I no longer call my diet "My HCG Diet Experience" but rather "My TLB Diet Experience!" (TLB are my initials!)  -- I really want to get out of weighing each and every day (sometimes 4 or 5 times a day!) -- I want to weigh in 1 time per week... and just track what I do each week... right now it is LOW CARB -- grapefruit juice and salads and protein -- really it is no different than any other labled "Low Carb" diet -- yes I have carbs, good carbs.. I have veggies everyday at lunch and dinner -- I have some cheese (not tons!) I have protein, not TONS -- just a normal portion - but if I want more of anything I eat protein... and I am not snacking between meals... I do have some Chocolate Delight at my meals which is only Coconut Oil/cocoa and stevia with a few nuts in it... and I am drinking water -- I have been having 1 cup of coffee with hwc and xylitol -- I have been having Olive Oil/Balsamic Vinegar as dressing --  I really do not know what else to do to get the weight off.... I know I have to work in the exercise.  I purchased a stretch band and will begin using that.. I will do it 4 times this week.. that is my goal (for the number of reps of exercises that came with the instruction book - no matter what "time" that translates into -- My husband tells me we can walk together as the weather improves....)
When I say I have carbs: I have Grapefruit juice (100% unsweetened at each meal) and lettuce with red onion, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and cheese as a basic salad-- with protein in it (either chicken or beef) -- Or on the side, I have a protein -- I have fat at each meal... not HIGH-- but adequate!  The fat would be olive oil in my dressing -- or cd-- or sauteing my chicken/beef in some oil/butter -- I do have taco salads (salsa, ground beef, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and occasionally guacamole, and red onion... ) -- I really can't see anything wrong with this.. .My protein is not as High as I have had it in the past... My veggies are about 6 loosely packed cups per day -- my fats are average-- and the only carbs are in my veggies and juice -- Protein and green for meals -- water, and some cd... this can't be bad!  Weighed 217.8 yesterday -- If I drop about 5 pounds this week, I know this will work for me... My friend tells me consistency is key!  and she is SO RIGHT!!!  so I want to do what I know to do, and not look back.... If my weight does not drop -- I really do not know what else to try!  Cut out more fat and more  protein? really?  Surely not.. .we will see.... how these next 2 weeks go and see what transpires!  God is good no matter what - -He makes me worth more than what the scales make me feel!
