Hello:
Sorry I did not write last week... I have been a lil' busy! Today's weight... (drum roll please!!!) 207.0!! I go to the Dr. tomorrow for a physical -- and my goal was to be 207 by that day... and I AM !!!!! I have been staying on protocol 99.9% -- I say 99.9 because yesterday was the first day I did a "no-no" -- I went to Cracker Barrel with friends and I had lettuce/tomato and some red onion (mixed my p2 veggies!) I was so scared of having a gain -- but I did not--- I was down .8 this morning -- but I won't risk that again! Too much scary!!! I drank a D-tox tea last night and made sure I drank all my water to compensate and help me not to gain this morning!
The last time I was at my Dr. I weighed 267 in August, and 233 in September and today I am 207.0 -- definitely headed in the right direction...
My next goal is to cross safely in the 190 zone -- and break the 200lb barrier! and for this round I would love to end at 188!!!! I am shooting for that! I will go an extra day or two to get there! Then I would only have 38 more pounds to go till goal!!!! I can feel the end being in site! This blog helps me to remember my goals -- so I will not forget!

R3 P2 D12 VLCD 10

I have lost 10 pounds even as of today (Net for this round -- I have lost 15.3 if you count my loading weight, which I do not!)
My average losses for this round for today is .9 -- I would LOVE to keep that up!
We shall see! I just had lunch:
Steak and sliced tomato and melba
Water/Coffee
I will have a fruit snack about 3:00
Supper will be Chicken and lettuce and a dressing.... I may try to find a way to use my orange on my salad.... If I can find a decent dressing to go with that..
Gotta go chug some more water... and get some errands done!

Round 3 P2 Day 11 VLCD #9
Had a good weekend:
My food was as follows:
Saturday I had beefy tomato soup (Round steak with sauteed grape tomatoes/water and seasonings to taste - onion powder, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper) - Melba toast
Orange for snack
Talipia with Asparagus and Melba toast (I forgot my 2nd fruit!)
Water/Coffee
Sundays Weight - 213.0 (down .6)
Sundays Food:
Apple, lettuce and chicken for lunch
Water
Beef and boiled cabbage/melba for supper
Orange
Coffee
Monday a.m. weight - +.4 -- I had Bragg's Amino's on the cabbage -- I am attributing the +.4 to high sodium -- I will reduce all sodium today to see if that brings that back off!
So far today I have had a shot of ACV -- (on an empty stomach, not good!!!!) and since my stomach was hurting, I had a piece of melba to help settle it-- and some coffee with Vanilla Stevia Creme Drops. -- I plan on having beefy tomato soup again and chicken with spinach with a strawberry dressing on it for supper!
Don't ask about the strawberry dressing, I just know I can have strawberries as my fruit -- so I plan on looking up a dressing recipe for p2 and making one -- that will be my fruit portion
I like to have coffee with Vanilla Creme Drops - so I will sip on that when I feel the need! I find it helps me to have a fruit around 3:00 to help curb my hunger -- so I will have an apple today around 3:00 (Apples help with water retention, that is why I am choosing that in lieu of an orange today! Not having a plan is a plan to fail! -- So if I think through my "plan" then maybe I won't "fail"!
I really want to make this round count to the max! I would rather hit it hard, stabilize beautifully - and relax then to do a half shot job, only loose a little - and hate myself for it later, just to have to do an additional round! I really want to get to 190 on this round... According to my weight loss trend -- that will happen!

Round 3 P2 Day 8 VLCD #6
Down 1.4 today! I am 214.4 --
My food yesterday was:
Today I plan on steak and spinach for lunch and chicken and cabbage soup for supper -- the usual snacks/water/acv
I went and compared my numbers -- in Round 1 I had lost a net of 6 on day 8, and on Round 2, I had netted a loss of 4.2 on day 8-- in this round, I am down 7.2 on day 8 --- so I am ahead of where I usually am at this time! That encourages me for this round to really pull off 30 pounds and be 190 on Feb. 24th!!!

- Breakfast: Coffee with Vanilla Creme drops
- ACV shot glass before lunch
- Lunch: steak with grape tomatoes (Cooked in water to make like soup) and melba
- Snack: Orange
- Supper: Large handful of lettuce with baked chicken and my mustard dressing
- Snack: Apple sprinkled with Xylitol and Cinn.
- Water throughout the day
- Dieter's tea before bed

Round 3 P2 Day 7 VLCD #5
Hi all!
I woke up to a loss of 1.6 today which makes my weight 215.8 - I haven't weighed that since just after Abby was born! I'll take it! I have a Dr. appointment on Jan. 31 - I want to be 207 by that day -- (yes, I want to impress the socks off of my Dr. who started me on this regiment to begin with!) I usually DREAD and even sometimes AVOID my annual appointment for the weight reason only! But.. God is helping me... and that is not the case this time. I know I have a LONG way to go.. but by the grace of the Living and One True God -- I will make it!
This is day 7... Only 37 more days to go on this round! No big deal! If I have my food planned out, it makes this so much easier to do.. I get really frustrated when I don't have a good veggie on hand -- or have not thought about it to be creative enough... I went to wal-mart/Aldi yesterday and got a large bag of fresh spinach, some frozen spinach, grape tomatoes and vine tomatoes -- so I have plenty of options for my next few meals.. I will alternate between cabbage, tomatoes and spinach for my veggies! Chicken and Round steak are my staple meats, occasionally fish.

- Orange around 3:00
- Supper: 100 grams of chicken with large handful of spinach and Ms. Dash, melba toast
- Around 8:00 I had a cooked apple with Xylitol and Cinnamon
- I drank a large cup of Dieters Tea last night, my water (all day) and 2 cups of coffee (in the a.m.) (decaf, sweetened with vanilla creme stevia drops)

R3 P2 Day 5
Today is day 3 of VLCD -- day 5 of this round... I was down 3.0 this morning -
I know it will slow down... but ... I am thankful none the less... I can't wait to see the 190's -- that will be what makes this a successful round -- :)

P3 Day 4
Hello:
I had a wonderful weekend of loading... Yesterday, Sunday was my first VLCD and this morning I had a 5.0 release! YAY!!! I had gained 5.3 in loading, so tomorrow I will have emptied all of my loading weight.
My last round my ending weight was 216 -- however I never really stabilized in my last p3 - I was 221.4 the first day of this round -- I have to work off of that number -- I really want to get to 190 (Ambitious, yes!!! -- If i can securely break the 200 mark I will be very pleased -- (195 would be great!) but I am aiming for the 190 mark!
I feel good and have no problems -- I want to keep a positive mental attitude - I know if I eat my fruit I do feel better -- I just cut it when my losses begin to slow down... but I hope to do things POP -- not just "proper on protocol" but "Perfect on Protocol!" -- I will FOLLOW THE RULES!

Load Day 1
Here I go.. Loading is FUN! I have had CFA for Breakfast and Lunch! I will be having Chili 5 way tonight with Razzleberry Pie and Ice Cream! I know what you are thinking... "What Kind of Diet is this anyway?" Yeah, we get to GORGE for 2 days then hit the VLCD (Very Low Calorie Days!) So I will live and enjoy today and tomorrow -- and then hit the grind for the next 40 days! I want to be as close to 190 as I can when this round is done! That means during this round I will hit a major personal goal... to cross the 200 barrier! YEAH BABY!!!! I will scream loudly on that day! My next goal will to hit the 170's! Then the 150's -- then I'll be at goal! So... in reality I have 2 more full rounds to do.. I hope to do this one and 1 more before the end of May -- and do the other in August -- and then learn to maintain for LIFE!!!! That is the plan my friend! I think if I write it down here.. I can come back and remember my ambitions!
Yes, my short term goal is to cross the 200 line-- then the next line is the 170's and that goal is to be a lil' lower weight than my husband... which I have NEVER been! He weighs between 170-175 -- Yes, I will SHOUT that day too! I should be that weight for the summer months... and then if I can loose the last 25 before next fall -- when I replace my Fall/Winter clothing with size 12/14's -- that will be NICE!!!! (maybe a larger cut size 10????? who knows what life will be like...) I am trying to keep my eyes on the prize!!!! When we go to China to get our new family member (remember, we are trying to adopt!) my new daughter won't think she is getting a fat mamma!!!
Today I am a size 18W -- It will be interesting to see what size I end on after this round! Remember it is called "Pounds and Inches!" I know I will loose inches as well as pounds! I just want to be "normal" which I know is a relative term... but I hate being assessed as being "morbid obese" or whatever.... I'll take "overweight" and then I want to be in the "normal" range -- and keep my health up!
This past round was a failure in my book... but I am looking on to brighter days in this round!
Well.. I am wasting time here typing when I could be better spending it by LOADIING!!
Gotta run get a cookie! (nah, just kidding!)... (well.. maybe... :)

End of p3 and beginning of Round 3
Well... This round was not a successful as my first -- this p3 was not as easy as my first either! No matter, I am putting it behind me and starting Round 3 this coming Friday! I will end the end of February - I hope to loose 30 pounds! Maybe that is ambitious -- but, I am hoping!
We have a lot going on this year in our family as we are hoping to adopt a little girl. I want to have my weight issues behind me for good -- IF I can pull off a 30 pound loss -- that will put me at 40 pounds till goal! So... it will be in sight!
I am getting mentally prepared now....
